Parents Connecting Online Mission and Goals

Parents Connecting Online is an online support group for all parents. We come together to support each other through the task of raising and parenting healthy children. All parents are welcome to join the group.
Our goal is to we have healthy conversations with parents who would like to offer hope, give parenting solutions, share success stories and contribute to positive parenting skills. Our goal is also to offer a place where parents can come to gain support in raising their children through the tough times. Whether you are an intact family, separated family, high conflict family, divorced family, non traditional family you are a parent who is welcome here.

All parents are welcome to join and all we ask is that you stay focused on issues of parenting and living in positive solutions.

I like the 3 C's. Remembering that consequences have to match the crime and the age group. I have seen people ground teens for 4 months because they didn't get their homework done. And time small children out for an hour. Those kinds of…

Good addition. So, can I add three more ... ("C's as it turns out): discipline needs Consistency and Clarity of structure (rules) and reliable ... but patient and forgiving ... Consequences?

Hi Paul, Good way to put it. Discipline is teaching with patience. I guess another way to put it would be to add structure. Structure is so important in a home.
